Change 1 MEMORY …

… And You Can Change It All!

We celebrated Memorial Day in the United States. It’s the opportunity to pause, and think of those who lost their lives in the service of this country. While they did not head off to serve with the intention of giving up life, that act is worth considering for ourselves.

All too often, our memories get foggy and vague and loose their meaning unless we pause and give them attention.

Put your interruptions on hold, and set aside the holiday meal you’ve made for yourself. Take 5 minutes to ask yourself:

“Who do I know personally who has acted with a commitment to others?”

When you have them in mind. Find a quiet place to sit or stand and think of who they have been in your life.

Take the memory of who they have been and how it has shaped you and mark on your calendar 1 action you’d like to take to make sure their influence lives on through you.
